Hi, what entice you to post an article on C1 Build 5728 installed without DVD at Daniel15’s Blog? This article was extremely interesting, especially since I was searching for thoughts on this subject last Thursday.

Yeah, if you install it, you'll still be able to boot into your Windows XP installation. When you boot up, it will show you a menu allowing you to choose either "Vista" or "Previous version of Windows (Windows XP)".

I've got a winxp box and I'm thinking of trying the vista rc1. I'll want to remove it later on as well (bloatware, like you said), but will I be able to boot my xp installation after that as I wou;d normally do?

Yes, it’s safe, just make sure you have a backup of all your important documents before proceeding (bad things do occasionally happen).

"Check out this! http://11011.net/archives/000673.html
It shows how to install Vista without DVD or even virtual drive."
Looks nice :)
But, shortly after I posted this post, I became bored of Vista, and removed it from my laptop (to leave more space for Ubuntu :D). I'll show that to my friend, though (he was wondering if it was possible to install without a virtual drive or DVD)

Check out this! http://11011.net/archives/000673.html
It shows how to install Vista without DVD or even virtual drive. You need a NTFS formated partition and extracted vista install files on your current disk or usb flash/hard drive.
